What We Do

Since 2012, we have led the effort to advocate for expanding the New York City greenway system to connect to Eastern Queens and Nassau.

What We’ve Achieved

  • Collected over 1000 petition signatures.

  • Got agencies to sit down and talk to each other.

  • Met with our local elected officials

  • Spoken with and gained the support of civic and parks groups

  • Worked with community groups to get the Motor Parkway Greenway in Queens repaved

  • Helped organize the Tour de Flushing

  • Helped to write a bill, and seen it get passed by both houses of the legislature.
